Carquest Auto Parts (Schow’s Inc.) is seeking a Parts Runner/Counter person to join our team in Burley, ID.

The Parts Counter/Runner person will be responsible for efficiently and accurately delivering automotive parts to various locations and assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly and professional manner.

Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:

-Deliver automotive parts to designated locations promptly and efficiently

-Communicate effectively with the parts department to ensure accurate deliveries

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle

-Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records

-Follows up on back-ordered parts

-Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization, issues credit

for parts returned

-Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer/customers receive their copy

of the invoice

-Proactive approach to supporting customers and the Carquest team

Qualifications:

-Excellent communication skills or multilingual proficiency is a plus

-Basic knowledge of automotive repair parts

-Ability to navigate the local market for efficient deliveries

-Basic math skills for inventory management

-Familiarity with cash register operations is beneficial

-Clean driving record and ability to maintain it

-Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and driving record

investigation

Requisitos del puesto

  • Deliver parts and/or supplies from parts department to customers
  • Ensure are stocking needed spare parts in the parts crib
  • Process all parts through the Company parts fulfillment program
  • Ensure the correct parts/materials
  • Picking up and delivering parts
  • Receive shipments and stocks parts
  • Perform cycle counts of parts
  • Communicate effectively with parts suppliers to ensure the correct parts are delivered
  • Distribute parts to shelf and/or parts room for stock
  • Distribute parts to customers and employees
  • Provide assistance with loading/unloading parts
  • Tag all parts properly for destination
  • Keep records of parts received and issued, and inventory parts in storeroom as needed (by computer or other means)
