Carquest Auto Parts (Schow’s Inc.) is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Auto Parts Counter person to join our team in Burley, ID.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories using automotive diagnostics tools and product knowledge

Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting inventory, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment through POS (Point of Sale) systems

Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, and automotive service procedures to enhance customer trust and loyalty

Handle cash handling, cashiering, and sales transactions efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of parts, utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking inventory levels

Maintain organizational skills to keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards


Skills

Excellent negotiation skills to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction

Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively

Proficiency with inventory management software, and POS systems

Demonstrated experience in retail sales, stock management, and order fulfillment processes

Outstanding communication skills coupled with phone etiquette to engage customers professionally

Organizational skills essential for stocking, inventory control, and maintaining a well-organized workspace
